formally:私は姉 or 妹の宿題を手伝いました。
＝watashi wa ane/imouto no shukudai wo tetsudaimashita
informally: 姉 or 妹の宿題を手伝った。
=ane/imouto no shukudai wo tetsudatta
手伝った: （tetsudatta）- to help
