How are Japanese teens?

Well, through manga and anime I'm only given an insight about that stupid high school love and drama ****, nothing about how people on Japanese schools are.

I'm asking since I'm curious, and since I know that there's different from country to country on how people are. I believe that Americans are different from Norwegians for example.

Anyone who knows what it's really like to go on a japanese school?

It's different from person to person. I think many of them are studying pretty seriously.
