Just wondering how many people hate it and how many people love it.

Answer:
It is mostly cultural. There are more Black-Americans who hate it than White-Americans. Japanese love it that you can even buy Mayonnaise Ice Cream. I grew up with it, and when we were poor, all I had in my lunch box is mayonnaise sandwich with a bit of sugar. I would mostly eat name brand mayo, but if non-name brand mayo and Miracle Whip are the only choices... non-name brand will do for me.
