A picture I saw showed that the Animate store in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, Japan, has separate floors for certain things (general, boys' comics, girls' comics, adult, etc etc). My question is, do you HAVE to be eighteen to LOOK on the adult floor (not purchase, just look)? In other words, will employees stop you and ask you to head to a different floor? Does it make a difference if an adult is with you or if they are with you while you purchase an item?

Answer:
I don't think they will stop you and check your ID just because you are looking at adult section. If you look very young like 12 or 14, they may stop you. But if you look 18 or older, it's OK.
