I'm going to Japan. Is it cheaper to exchange my money here or there?

I'm going to Japan for two months. I will need to bring lots of cash with me. So will it be cheaper to exchange my money from dollars to yen here in Canada, or bring dollars to Japan and exchange them there?

Exchange your money in your home country it is always cheaper esp if you can haggle i.e. exchange rates
