Why does Japan's youngsters nowadays do not want to have children?

Question:

Just read about the news about Japan's population going to be half of today by 2050. Is this true, or is this just another over-exaggerated media hoax?

Answer:

I'd say it's due to the lack of happiness & fulfillment in most marriages & in their life, and lastly a stagnant economic development which seemed to be endless for such a long time. Deep beneath Japan is actually a nation, where people are constantly under tremendous pressures, stresses, and abuses ever since their childhood, just to strive-strive-and strive endlessly. Many of whom grew hatred towards their parents & themselves, thus fearing that they would became exactly as their parents & ended up as who they are, hence repeating the same mistakes upon raising their own kids.

The population issue is actually very complex and psychologically challenging to solve.
