How to correctly ask "May I have a goodbye hug?" In Japanese?

Question:

There's this boy I met in Japan but I didn't get to say good bye to him properly and I may see him again next time I go. I know "Hagu shite mo ii desu ka?" would be understandable but how would you say "May I have a GOOD BYE hug?"

Just asking how to say the good bye part in it because everytime I went it looks like no one really hugged in public and when I hugged one of my friends (He's been to the US before so he knows our custom) I gavfe him a hug and all of his classmates started giggling and squeeling (I was at a highschool). So I assume hugs are more of a private thing.

Answer:

さよならのハグをしてもいい?
sayonara no hagu wo shitemo ii?
