I would love to go to Japan and develop my language skills and learn about the future, I would love to stay in the country for a year however Japan is extremely expensive. If I was to go, what job could I get, where could I study Japanese for super cheap and where could I stay? I'm not rich but I would love to experience this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Ryan, see what requirements you have to fulfill in order to apply to the JET program and teach English in Japan. Also, learn the language well BEFORE you travel; otherwise you will be completely lost!
