Should I Major in Japanese?

Should I major in Japanese? O_O Japan is so awesome and I feel like if I don't do it I'll regret it forever...

Answer:

The truth is that with some Japanese language nobody is going to hire you specifically for that - where you are they'd naturally hire a native speaker, or a bilingual person you unfortunately can't compete against and win. And who'd want you in Japan with just that? There's over 125 million Japanese who can do better than you. Pick something companies want - you can minor in Japanese. If you speak 3 needed languages and have a marketable education or skill, you can pretty much write your own ticket.
