Hypothetical: if i were going to Shibuya from Phila. what airports would i use & the cost?

Question:

i started a a project that involves me planning to go to japan and i have everything done except for the flight information. give me as many possible details as you can, cause i'm extra behind without the flight info!
i would like to know what flights i would use.
i'm in Philly and the destination is Shibuya
i'd be staying at the SHIBUYA GRANBELL HOTEL from July 1, to July 10th or 13th
can i get round-trip ticket?
the amount doesn't matter since i'm not really going, just planning
and any other details you could give me!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
i suck at traveling!

Keep Japan in ur thoughts! :(

Answer:

Closest airport to Shibuya is Narita (airport code: NRT)
From Philly, you could fly to Chicago and then to NRT or you could take the train to Newark and go non-stop to NRT
Yes, you can (and should) get a round trip ticket

go to your favorite travel website (e.g. expedia) and book your flights

Do know that when you arrive in Narita, you will be very tired (it's a long flight) and after clearing passport control and customs, you will still need another 2 hours to get to your hotel...
