I want to sell art on an auction site and then donate proceeds to the Japan tsunami relief...?

Question:

For those who have experience with donating to charitable organizations, which one or ones are working on the ground in Japan with the survivors of the tsunami? I've heard that the most efficient charities spend at least 75% of their budget on their programs and services and less than 25% on fund raising and administrative fees. As I understand, if requested to do so, the charity of one's choice will send copies of its most recently filed 990 forms which of course would be a good way to assess its commitment to transparency.

Answer:

Don't understand what you mean but you can always sell stuff on ebay and choose the "donate to charity" link i think there is a Red Cross symbol somewhere
