Is Ritalin a legal drug to bring into Japan?

Question:

I am a Student from Arizona State University and am going on a year long study abroad in Japan and i am trying to find out with i will be able to take my Ritalin prescription with me for my ADD? I know that some ADD medications such as Aderal are not allowed in Japan

It's approved in Japan. So you can bring. But you can also get in Japan even if you did not bring it to Japan.
