By then I will be done university and I was thinking about becoming an English teacher.
But because of the tragedy, will Japan's economy be okay to hire English teachers? More specifically in Tokyo.

Yes, Japan is still hiring teachers right now and we are currently hiring for the April start period. The next big hiring time will be mid year for September starts.
