Is this true what my friend told me about Japan...?

That people over there bow to each other because it's rude to use a napkin in public, and they pick their noses? Is it true?

Answer:

We bow in Japan for respect. And yes, for me in here to live, blowing your nose in public is seen as a bit rude but not to pick a nose.

When meet to your superiors, you bow at the waist, very low. or when you meet someone. Your friend need to learn more about Japan. （笑）
