With what unit do you measure in Japan?

Question:

For height I know it's centimeters. And for distances I believe it's kilometers. For weight I believe it's kilograms. But what about shoe size?

Answer:

Most everything is in metric. Pretty much America is the only country on earth still using the old system for everything. But due to their influence, you can see TV screen measurements in inches, plus in Japan rooms are built by how many tatami mats fit into it. Shoe sizes in Japan are done in centimeters, but Japanese also love expensive imports from Europe and then the Europeans sizes are used.
