Japan gets around commercial whaling ban by claiming it is for research.why not ban sale of the meat to stop them from killing whales.if the oceans die we die

Please show me a " whale byproduct " that's sold in the US. There are none.
There's more danger for the oceans dying from pollution than lack of whales...
