I would translate;
私の好きなセレブ（タレント）がこの番組に出演しているんです。（or ～に出ているんです）
出現 is rarely used for people unless it's about Buddha, God, Maria, the Prophets etc., I suppose.
Or (bigger) animals, monsters; 熊(bear) / 謎の物体(unidentified object)が出現！
Although お気に入り is used as an internet community wording like ”お気に入り登録” (My Contacts), but it should not be used for yourself. (because お is honorific)
My favorite celebrity →（私が）気に入っているセレブ・気になっているセレブ is better
