I am trying to figure out the whole yen to dollar thing..?

Question:

I'm just not getting it. I keep getting all these numbers, like 1.00 JPY = 0.0130788 USD
-____-" If anyone can recamend something a little more simpler I'd very much appreciate it! ^_^

Answer:

Look at it this way -- 1 yen is about 1.3 cents from your example above.

But most people don't think that way - just take the most current exchange rate from a site like
www.xe.net or www.oanda.com and just plug in the numbers.

Now $1 is about 76 yen - so 1000 yen is 1000/76 or about $13.16
or
$25 is 25 x 76 or about 1900 yen.
