I'm going to Shingu, Wakayama soon, and I'm not sure how to fit in without looking like a freaky Japanese wannabee. What's something I can wear that won't make me look like one of those lolita girls, but that won't get me weird looks? Basically I'm asking what people wear on a normal tuesday in Japan, not those crazy high platforms or frilly skirts or anything.

Just wear your regular clothes. Japan is a different country, not a different planet.
