What kind of Japanese tea cup is this?

Question:

it is taller than most japanese tea cups, no handle, dark grayish, maybe brown? I can't quite remember. I believe it is common but they all look kind of hand made out of clay or something like that because it is all bumpy.

Answer:

It sounds like you are describing the kind of cup that would be used at a sushi counter.

It is bigger than a normal teacup so that the busy guys behind the counter will not have to keep filling it up.
