Translate this Japanese dialogue to English?

Question:

Its supposed to be a bickering between two J celebrities, but I can't figure out one part. x.x

A「あいさつはちゃんとしよう」
B「まるで俺らがしてないみたいな」
A「知ってる知ってる知ってる、挨拶はちゃんとしてこーね」
B「その言い方なら分かるけど・・・」
A「あ?」

I believe it translates like
"Greet correctly!"
"You make it seem like we don't."
"I know I know I know, [the part I don't understand, is he mocking something or what?]"
"I understand when you say it that way."
"What?"

So could someone explain that part to me, or if I made any translation mistakes do tell. -confused-

Answer:

You translated correctly.
This is a case of hard to explain nuance only natives can understand.
A is female, B is male.
A implies B does not greet right, too casual or not formal enough.
B complains, you sound like we don't.
A I know you do but let's do it right.
B Well, if you say it that way I understand but.........

There is no mocking, she just wants him to do it nicely and do it like he means it.
B doesn't like A lecturing him.
