How do 場所、所、場合、場 differ?

Question:

They all seem to mean "a place". What's the difference? Please explain and define each even if it doesn't mean "a place"

Answer:

場所 is literally a place.

所 has many more uses, it is too complicated to explain, sorry =(

場合 is "What if..." kind of thing, you know what I'm saying?

場 is an occasion.
