Can I Live in Japan??????

Question:

I currently live in the U.S. (more accurately Minnesota) and its been my dream to move to japan and live there. In order for me to do that is becoming a citizen the only way i dont understand the difference between resideing in japan or becoming a citizen and do i have to be a citizen to work there?

Answer:

You don't need to be a citizen to work in Japan. You have to work there first. To work there you need a work visa. To get the work visa you need a four year degree and a job offer before you get there.
You can stay up to 90 days without a visa. And up to 180 days in a 12 month period.
If you have a degree ( BA / BS ) , yes, it's possible.
