A question for married, male residents of Japan?

Question:

I recently read in the Japan Times how the 'pocket money' for the average Japanese salaryman is at an all-time low of about 36,000 yen/month, about half of what it was in 1990. I know that most, if not all, my Japanese friends have bought into this scheme but that dog don't hunt in my house. How many of you 'subscribe' to this 'pocket money' idea where the wife gives you a monthly allowance?

Answer:

I do.
I get 50,000 yen/month. But I have to save 10,000 of that in order to travel with my wife.
So I'm an average man (:
