I want to know anything and everything you know about japan?

I am fascinated with this culture and everything about it, but there is only so much you can learn online. I want to hear it from someone who was there, or knows all about it. The language, culture, architecture, anything!

have you tried reading their literature? you can buy them online. they even have their own version of edgar allan poe (not bad at all). also watch the 7 samurai (both movie and anime) and read james clavell (i read shogun - it's one view on their culture)
