Where to stay in Kansai?

So i plan to travel around Kansai area for 5-6 days and I wonder where (which prefecture) is it better to stay? I'm thinking of somewhere with a very convenient train station (where I can just hop on a train and go to another prefecture in Kansai)

Of course, I recommend you Osaka city.
But Osaka is not a small town. There are a lot of stations and towns.

Which station is good for you depends on where you want to go.
If you want to go to Kyoto and Kobe, Osaka = Umeda is good for you.
If you want to go to Nara or southern part of Osaka, Namba is better than Umeda.
