Fun, Easy to make Japanese decorations for bedroom?

Question:

Looking for Japanese decorations to make or that are cool but cheap!

Im making my room into a Japan type of room, any ideas on what to put in it?

Ive already got:
Wall art, such as: Cherry blossom tree wall sticker, and other wall paintings etc.
Japanese lanterns,
Bonsai tree,

Thats all i could think of.

So im looking for decorations that are fun and not too hard to make, or cheap but still nice.

Answer:

you could buy a large "vase" and make origami stars or hearts and put them in there :)

My pen pal made something like that for me and I still love it sooo much and bring it everywhere :D

MMM you could also make your own stuff using paper mache -- if you want it to dry faster you can take balloons and blow them up and use the mache over it. You can also use a sandwich bag and blow it up and then tie the ends. :) Or put something else inside haha :) Then paint what you have~ <3

Also, you can get a pen holder and decorate the pens japanese style...for instance, you can make small stars or something out of clay or the paper mache (then paint). Then you can glue them around the top :D

Also, if you have a sewing kit and fabric as well as stuffing of some sort (maybe from an old pillow), you can make a pillow shaped like sushi or origami of some sort...maybe even designed after one of your lanterns :D

You can buy the above if you would like. They are GORGEOUS (ive seen them in real life), and relatively cheap :D Remember to use sites such as Retailmenot.com to find coupon codes for sites which are selling these~

On that same page is this pic: http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http…

You can take branches from outside and use sewing string and go around it with the colors you want as well :D

Good luck and I hope this helps. I bet your room is gonnna be awesome :D
