What does this mean? A japanese girl sent a message saying this...?

じゃあ、ジョナタンに会うまでに私はちゃんと国語を学びなおさないとね。

So understand the whole message. The only part i'm confused in is this sentence. I think it means "So, untill i meet Jonathan (untill she meets me), I will teach you proper language".

Am i right?

Well then, I think I have to study Japanese anew till I meet Jonathan.
学びなおす＝学び直す＝study (Japanese) once again
読み直す＝ read (a book) once again
～～しないといけない＝have to do ....like in: 学び直さないといけない、読み直さないといけない。
（it's not negative form)
