I am hosting a Japanese exchange student this summer and Im looking for some fun stuff we could do.?

Question:

If this helps
- He is 14
- I live in Colorado
- It will be for 3 weeks in the summer
Im looking for some unique American things we could do and just everyday things to stay busy.
Also is there anything Japanese people like to "pick up" in America that they can't get back home or foods they like to eat in America.

Answer:

since he has never been to the U.S. there is not much he would not like to see and do.
Living in Colorado means you can take him to the mountains and ride horses or may be snow ski if some of the slopes are still open.
Let him look at everything and he will decide what he wants to take home to show his family.
American fast food is in Japan but you can feed him almost anything, and he will like it.
Get some brochures and let him pick what he wants to do first.
