What age do you have to be to get into clubs in Tokyo?

Clubs with and without drinking. Just wondering as my friend and I are heading to Tokyo this July, maybe go to some clubs during the night?

I agree with a person before me.

I went clubbing in tokyo and we gave them our US IDs. one of my friends was only 18 and he still got in after they looked at his ID. So it just depends on the place too.

You are supposed to be 20 though.
