In Japanese, are 'wo' and 'o' the Same Thing?

Question:

I'd just like to know because when listening to Japanese artists sing live(Such as the girl group Buono!) On my CD they say 'wo' and in live concert DVDs they say 'o'.

Answer:

For instance.....

The cat ate the food. Neko ga esa o tabeta. 猫が餌を食べた。
If you want to get the proper character, you have to type 'wo' for the 'o' resulting in を。

On the other hand, type in just 'o' and you get the hiragana お。

@Prada...... Your post, as usual, made you look foolish but you do a much better job at the task when you try to express your warped sense of reality in a more verbose manner. Come on, put some effort into it. You're much sillier than that simply post indicates.
