Can you restore my faith in japan?

Question:

i recently asked about moving to japan but got a really bigoted response, is that the norm i should expect

Answer:

Why don't you visit Japan as a tourist and face the reality?
I have no idea what kind of "faith" you have, but faith should be based on the reality, not a fantasy.
VISIT Japan! Then you can find the reality.

A Very Important Advice:
Don't use the words: "move to Japan."

When you ask, "How can I move to Japan," most Japanese would be offended, saying (or not verbally) that "You cannot 'move to our country;' Japan is an independent nation, not an extension of the US."
Instead you should ask "How can I live in Japan?" Then, some "open-minded" Japanese would be glad to give you some advice. You should show your respect to the Japanese by using the correct words.

As you can recognize, all the similar ("I want to move to Japan") questions posted here at least 5 times a day are crushed on the spot. You may be able to live in Japan (if you were qualified and lucky enough), but YOU CANNOT MOVE TO JAPAN. Before you whine about what you call a "bigoted response," you need to use the correct language not to offend the Japanese. OK?
