Question:

Answer:

I am working on it sir, so thank you for your patience, but here are the ingredients:

(You are supposed to get 600mL or 20 fl oz of the sauce)
Ingredients:
-100g or 0.2lbs bacon
-1 onion
-1/2 carrots
-1 bunch celery
-3 cloves garlic
-200mL red wine
-600mL canned demi glace sauce
-400mL broth
-100mL ketchup
-50mL Worcestershire sauce
-salt, black pepper, vegetable oil, amounts not specified

1. Chop up the vegetables except you "halve" each clove of the garlic, and also chop the bacon

2. Heat up some vegetable oil in the pan, add & saute the bacon, and when it starts smelling really good, add the vegetables and saute them as well until they are browned, over medium heat.

3. Add the red wine to the pan, and simmer over low heat until it is reduced to the point where it looks like about the half of the original amount.

4. Add the demi glace sauce and the broth to the pan.

5. Simmer for about half an hour or until it is thickened.

6. Using your ladle (the huge spoon you serve soups with) and strainer, pick up the vegetable chunks from the sauce and mash them over the pot so that they are back in the sauce but not vegetable chunks but more like V8 (does that make sense?). And then add the ketchup and Worcestershire sauce, and also some salt and pepper to taste.

(I am also really wondering why they decided to use the "mL" in the ingredients section, and I really don't know how to write those things in units like cups or tbsp, etc.)
