How safe will tokyo and osaka japan be in one to two years?

I was going to be an exgange student in my second or third year in high school but now I'm not so sure, if it's not going to be safe, but depending on how bad it is I will or will not go because I have wanted to go to Japan almost my whole life.

They are as safe as they were two years ago. If you're talking about radiation , that was never a problem. The problem area is close to the nuke plants in fukushima, some 150 miles from Tokyo, and even farther from Osaka.
