What does this Kanji sentence mean? (Japanese)?

Question:

Got this message from an exchange student friend.

写真見たよ!
彼女いるんだね
ガッカリ

I tried throwing it into Google Translate, but it made no sense. Is she asking if I have a girlfriend, or stating that -she- has one?

Answer:

I saw your photo.
You have GF, right?
I'm disappointed.
