What is the minimum time you can stay for a working holiday in Japan?

Me and a few friends are looking at going on a working holiday in December. We have from the 19th of December till about the 18th of February (about 2 months). Wondering if that would be enough time to do one and if anyone knows any good companies that offer work for around this time. Thanks

You are meant to find jobs yourself with the visa. 2 months might be pushing (given the current economic climate) but it is not impossible. If you know anybody or friend of a friend etc that has worked in Japan you could ask them to put in a good word for you or act as reference etc. Even for the 'classic' teaching positions 2 months may not be enough. My advice is start looking for any kind of job know and if possible make some contact with the companies so that when you get there, it will be bit easy. Also while you are at it, learn some Japanese it will smooth your way into the work place
