Japanese Language(Easy question)?

Question:

Can you explain me the difference between "to omou" and 'to omotte iru".

Can you explain the expression of difference in them.Create a sentence for example with translation.

Thank you

What is the difference between the both:

Nihon e ikou to omou

Nihon e ikou to omotte iru

Answer:

There is virtually no difference between those 2. It's basically "I think" or "I'm thinking". But there is little difference between those 2 in English, right?

BTW, omou has 2 ways to write, 思う and 想う. Your example does not specify which one.

思う is to think
想う is to love or to care someone, more personal feeling.
