How can I go to Japan to help?

Question:

I really want to volunteer and go to Japan to help with the fight to save Japan from distruction. I know a lot of people have to move out of Japan and that their tourism industry has been greatly effected. Ive always planned to live in Japan and this just seems to extra prompt me to go! Where can I sign up to go to Japan? Unfortunetly I don't have any money for a plane ticket or anything, so I want to go with a volunteer group! Thank You!

Answer:

I remember myself wanting to go to help Pakistan with their earthquake in 2005. About 80.000 people were dead and about 3 million homeless. They were pleading for help and I thought I might just go. However all the volunteer organizations I contacted asked to pay for my own air-ticket, food expenses that would have cost me several thousand pounds so I couldn't afford "to help", lol.

I think it's similar with every volunteer organization. They are about collecting the money from others as they don't have their own (unless they are regularly sponsored by someone).
I really think that the only thing you can do to help is to donate the Japanese Red Cross:
