How is the living in tokyo?, should i be aware of things? im not japenese , i need to be aware?

Question:

What should i know not to do?, or to do.

Answer:

How it is depends largely where you are comparing it to.

But Tokyo is fairly compact, with extreme population density. Watching the crowds cross the street at main thoroughfares is really breathtaking - like an ocean of people moving in front of you. The crowds trying to get on and off subways is quite legendary - comparing squeezing sardines in a can is being very kind. Prices are quite high, some of the highest on the planet. This is partially because of high rents as well as a very strong yen right now.
Yet Tokyo is an extremely vibrant city that never sleeps. There is virtually anything you can ask for unless you have agoraphobia. It is truly that heart of Japan and the center of industry, with some of the finest restaurants for nearly every cuisine you can imagine. It also has a huge youth culture that clearly has influences that touch the rest of the world.
But please don't conclude that Japan is all Tokyo or vice-versa. There is a lot of natural beauty outside the city that you should not miss.
