After everything that's happened to Japan, what's become of the Hachiko statue at Shibuya station?

It's on my bucket list to see this statue in person. The movie really touched me. I cried almost everyday for a week after seeing the movie. I NEVER cry. I probably cried more after watching this movie, than when my grandmother died... :-(

I don't know any other way to find out what happened...Do you think it would still be possible to travel there someday to see the statue?

Hachiko is not affected by the earthquake. Tokyo was not hit so badly first of all.
