Whats the worse thing that can happen to japan's reactors?

Will it have any effect globally?
I don't watch the news that much.

Answer:

Most likely it will not. It depends if the problem gets worse or not. However I think the worst scenario we're looking at is a spread of radioactive material and not a complete and total melt down like Chernobyl.
