You can get radiation from anyone taking chemotherapy who comes in contact with you very soon after but in very low doses. Radiation is simply the breaking down of atomic nuclei by releasing particles of radiation. Look if you have not been directly exposed to radioactivity you are in no harm. Those poor people could die of cancer and complications and so many others drowned and you are worried about what?
