Should people refuse to send money to Japan?

Question:

And only send FOOD and other items that fat-cat bureaucrats can't get there grubby hands hands? It seems that thousands of "so-called" charity orgs pop up of of nowhere putting guilt trips on tax paying citizens to get at their credit cards.

So, should we send food, vs money?

Answer:

I think you should research the legit donation charities like World Vision, the Red Cross and even Salvation army! :D The Salvation Army in Japan has been operating since the 1800s. I think it's best to send both. Money and food would help, any donations is help.
