Are Japanese people more resistant to radiation?

Question:

After Hiroshima and Nagasaki, should not the Japanese have built up some resistance to nuclear radiation? Not least those who lived closest to the bombed cities, but still survived. If so, maybe it was even blessing in disguise that it was Japan that was hit by a nuclear accident.
Only a theory that appeared in my head. What do you think?

Answer:

Now I do not know if there are different kinds of radiation, but that sounds pretty reasonable, however, so I still believe that there is convergence as it is from an atomic bomb.
