In japan, are there accents for different cities?

Question:

Any lexical gaps(something that needs to have a word for) in Japanese and English?Like in romanian there isn't a word for shallow.I'm asking because I think if someone knows both languages than they can point them out

there are more than plenty - got to remember that Japanese (not unlike other Asian languages) has way too many words expressing "feelings"

Ones you hear all the time and extremely hard to explain in English (since there is really no exact translation) are:
- yappari
- mattaku
- the verb "desu" (not it does not mean "is" - more like "equals")
- Ano (trail the o sound)
- Doshiyo
etc...

regional differences tend to use different dialects/accents. For example, Okinawa vs. Kansai (Osaka) vs. Tokyo vs. Hokkaido
